Mainland Beaches

The beaches of the continental part of the city of Florianópolis sit either side of the península which reaches out to the witch’s broomstick of the island. They are generally residential, built up and not very clean. They all have the small waves and calm waters of the bays and are only worth visiting if you haven’t got time to visit the island itself, and only then so that you can say that you’ve been to a Floripa beach. For the sake of completeness then:
